The furniture pieces are made using reclaimed furniture legs, (when they are available) or hand shaped legs from reclaimed timber. The coverings are made with reclaimed leather from abandoned sofas, usually discarded on some street corner. The leather is stripped and washed and then, using a hand-crank singer sewing machine, folded and sewn into a detailed form.  Dominic combines  the reclaimed materials into distinctive and dynamic figurative forms, retaining  and embracing the character of the past furniture.
